Location: Inchinnan, Glasgow (Client Site)
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: Part-Time (14 hours per week, split over 2 days, Monday–Friday)
About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and reliable professional looking to advance your career in healthcare? We are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join a supportive team at a premier client site in Inchinnan, Glasgow.
This is a highly varied and rewarding role where you will play a vital part in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the workforce. To ensure your success, you will receive a fully funded 3-week Training and Induction Programme in Solihull, complete with ongoing onsite mentoring..
Duties will include:
Health Screenings: Conduct essential health surveillance testing, including audiometry, lung function testing, and baseline biometrics (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis).
Data Management: Accurately record medical data within occupational health records to support clinical decision-making by nursing and physician staff.
Equipment Care: Maintain, clean, and ensure all screening equipment is fit for purpose.
Health Promotion: Assist with health promotion initiatives and wellness activities across the site.
What We Are Looking For
This position is ideal for individuals with a background in hands-on clinical care or physical sciences. We highly encourage applications from:
Healthcare & Emergency Professionals: Experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician/Assistant, or Army Medic.
Graduates: Sports Science graduates looking to break into the healthcare sector (experience with baseline measurements is essential).
Key Skills Required:
Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills.
A solid understanding of GDPR and data confidentiality.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a tight-knit team.
